They start as a comedy band, and are very clever and funny, and then you watch more of their stuff and you realise that they are a pretty good metal band as well. A lot of metal bands don’t take themselves too seriously, but these guys have achieved the perfect balance between comedy and sheer terror.

nekrogoblikon started as a comedy/joke band and then people were telling them they're actually good and they went legit
@dilbertjunkmail4 ай бұрын
@@howardmaryon There is always room for talented people and the combination of comedy with metal is a good idea. Earlier versions include a Band called Dread Zeppellin. "Dread Zeppelin is an American reggae rock band. Formed in 1989 in Sierra Madre, California, the band combines hard rock and reggae styles with humor. They are best known for performing the songs of Led Zeppelin in a reggae style as sung by a Las Vegas Elvis impersonator."

That’s what all these metal bands do to cover the fact that their singers have shitty voices and can’t really sing. Plus, it sounds obnoxiously juvenile, like a disturbed little kid throwing a tantrum. And how many fuckin’ songs with exactly that stupid screaming monster voice can you listen to?

Damn, these guys are good. You don't pull off a live recording in a small studio like that if you don't have chops. That synth totally shreds. Yeah, I hear some Tool, hell, the guy almost sounds like Draiman from Disturbed. But they have a Faith No More vibe about them too. They definitely don't take themselves too seriously. The funny thing I found was you have two different types of experiences depending on whether you are watching them ( they look ridiculous) versus just listening to them without watching them play. I like it.
