Shinjo sensei is truly renowned! He is a 9 time prefectural champion in kata and kumite and now the chairman of Uechi-Ryu kenyukai, an organization with over a hundred dojos worldwide. Truly a legend of a sort!

Have you guys seen his 9 second knock out before! This sensei is the cream of the crop in Uechi Ryu! I absolutely love this man. I really miss doing it. No dojo close enough to me after my sensei had to retire due to serious health problems

I trained for many years in shito-ryu karate and was teaching for about 12 years. Having trained with a number of Japanese sensei there is a significant gap on my list and that is Kiyohide sensei!
