It's so kool to see you ride though my back yard. I don't go to Oklahoma due too there roads are worse than ours here in poor boi Arkansas. However I yet to conquer the Ozarks, but plan to do so in the Spring of 2024. Just not used to 100mile tank range.

The journey home was nasty and stormy for 100s of miles. Haha Thanks for checking it out!

I enjoyed this video thank you for sharing I have wondered about the gas mileage 😷 The Yamaha Stryker gets ⛽ gets a little over 40 miles per gallon ⛽ Love from DeKalb Mississippi USA 🇺🇲

Hey the Stryker is a great bike! Being a large, air-cooled V-Twin, the Raider doesn’t get super great fuel economy especially when you up the fun factor by twisting your wrist. But most would say they didn’t buy it for the fuel economy. I know I didn’t! Haha but it can do rather well if you keep it tame. Anywhere from 32 mpg on heavy throttle for most of the tank up to 45 or so if you only have the occasional urge to twist it. Thanks for watching!

What issues have you experienced in 113k miles? I've read about starter relay, starter, fuel sensor, and fuel pump issues after many miles. Thanks.
@the7thletter444 Жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for watching. The fuel pump housing cracked at around 70,000 miles. Since then I learned to baby it by filling up between 100-120 miles and that keeps fuel around the housing, keeping it cool. Fork seals replaced a couple of times, the seal around the clutch rod was leaking at one point, but replaced that. All-in-all - it's been a great bike.Thanks for watching!

Well done. How did you navigate getting over the Mississippi River in Memphis on I40 with the crack that they found and shutting it down? I55 bridge?
@the7thletter4443 жыл бұрын
Great question. They discovered it (or decided to finally close it) merely minutes after I went over! I was shocked. And relieved I did not end up in the Mississippi

Great video, is it good for two up riding.
@the7thletter4443 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I use to ride 2-up a lot with it. There was never a lack of power with 2 full size adults, and enough clothing packed for a week. The stock pillion pad (passenger seat) is NOT good though. I would recommend going with Ultimate Seats passenger pillion

Great vid. Wat type of bag u hav there on the tank?
@the7thletter444 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. I’m sorry I don’t recall what brand it was. Maybe a Bilt or Cortech. I had it for about 14 years though and the zipper finally blew out a few months ago.
