When I heard the first boom, my curtains blew out and I shut the window thinking it was thunder. Before I close the window, I heard a second boom, not as loud or forceful as the first. My thoughts are that McVeigh was not intelligent enough to do this alone, and what is suspicious is the quick execution. People convicted of such crimes should be kept alive and studied. the buildings were full of asbestos. FULL. to the gills. much of the 9/11 ailments are from it. port authority (the 'owners') claimed the buildings had undergone extensive abatement procedures and were safe to occupy. removal was actually not possible, due to the nature of the materials and building codes at time of construction. nyc, port authority, inspectors, osha, and epa knew it wasn't possible but signed off on it anyway. by current gov't standards, they likely weren't safe to occupy. how much liability would there be to those who knew all about it and still claimed it 'safe'?

Besides, even if the full videos were released, the conspiracy theories would just adjust to account for videos' contents (ie the 2 world trade centers collapsing) - even if the videos fully corroborated the official version. The government can't win in this situation, so they do the honorable thing and spare the families the pain of knowing that their loved one's death is being viewed hundreds of thousands of times a day.

Ive been to the Memorial site for this. A reflecting pool, 2 arch ways; one saying 9:01 (the minute before of peace), and 9:03 (the minute after of healing); one chair for each victim who was killed organized bu the floor they were on, and 5 smaller chairs for the children in the nursery; and a memory tree which was beside the building which still has charred marks on the side which faced the building. It is a beautiful memorial.
