Ben Arbuckle was officially introduced as Oklahoma's newest offensive coordinator Wednesday by Brent Venables and actually spoke during OU's signing day even broadcast on ESPN+. Then on Thursday Nic Anderson, one of OU's most promising young receivers, declares his intentions to enter the portal. Eddie and George breakdown why it was that Venables hired Arbuckle. Will this hiring get football back on track? And what type of a hit is Nic Anderson to the roster? And what about some of those signing day wins and losses?

Sam Bradford would have been killed behing that OL just like he was in 2009, only worse. How come Coach B is not getting any heat over this? His sorry recruiting prior to 2024 led to this problem. His transfer portal picks for 2024 were awful. He needs to step up or leave just like the other coaches on this team. Joe C needs to retire. Giving BV the extension he did was crazy --way too early. Now it's going to bite OU in the butt.

Washington State and Texas Tech seem to be OU's backup plan for coaches. Do what Texas did and hire away Saban's best team of coaches that won him a Natty in 2020. Smart move by Texas. You know they were good when Saban was really butt hurt over it and had told them before he wanted them to succeed him when he retired. They might have if he would have retired when he should have, after the 2020 season. Washington State and Texas Tech, wow two major powers. Please Joe C retire.
