I Enjoy all your posts. This one especially about the Daytona. In 1974 I got a job in our local bank in Maryville TN.as a computer operator. A guy named Tony Waters had a Superbird Club. He drove one to work every night ( we worked night shift). He also had 2 Dodge Daytona's and a total of 3 Superbirds. Amazing cars and I got to take several rides with him ... Side note he was also an Elvis impersonator on the side.....fun guy. Thanks again for sparking some good memories.

This was a great episode . The ladies helping you gather up the Corvette parts and you helping get rid of the fencing . The next part with you guys meeting the hay maker with the Jeep that had no power steering or brakes was awesome . Very surprising when he opened up the doors to show the rest of the cars like the Corvette his dad built and the Mopar 👍 .

Same went for my 87 IROC Z28 to Richard. Crickets. He even walked around it at his 2nd Tacos and Tires even A week later. I have it on camera. Hagerty appraised it for nearly 3 times I paid for it. A blessing in disguise! Definitely a HUGE difference between middle class people and Hollywood. Just an honest opinion. My IROC at 62000 miles all original, makes me smile every time I turn the key.

I had a 76 CJ5 with a 304 no power steering or brakes or carpet. It had a 3 speed with drum brakes. But it did have an am radio. It was also a Renegade.

One day I will have Collins Brothers sort out my 84 CJ7 Larado. Need A/C, seat restore, would love fuel injection, paint it black ( origional, now it is red ), proper stripe kit, and sort out some of the old stuff that should be replaced underneath. She is a non rust Cali gem and deserves to be perfect one day.

Love y’all’s show! I remember when I was a youngster about 6. My memaw would take to the back of the house and get a chicken. Oh I miss my memaw’s fried chicken and dumplings chicken noodle soup. That was circa 1967. In 2006 I went to Russia. The chicken I got there was the say as at memaws. Much smaller than chicken here. Manufactured chickens! But fresh chickens are so much better tasting! Russian eggs were different too, the yellow was very pastel yellow. Great People I met in Russia, very nice. They have Buttheads too!

Ken's Steakhouse was already on my list of restaurants to try and it's only about an hour drive from my house so I'll probably try to get down there soon. I've known about it for over 30 years and I only live an hour away and still haven't been there. It's not like there's a shortage of great steak and ribs in Oklahoma though. I think I saw that Daytona previously somewhere. There's a Dodge Chrysler Plymouth auto salvage about a mile from my house so I possibly saw it or a similar one there. That crunched rear quarter stuck in my head though.

I once worked with a guy named Kevin who bought a brand new beige 1982 Jeep just like this one. I think he paid $4200 for it. Jeeps were a low price option back then. That radio is really top of the line, isn't it?
