The 1 thing John will have that Baker didn't that could potentially win him a national championship.... A defense and a good one at that. All they gotta do is be able to score 28 to 35 points a game, and they can beat anyone in the SEC with that defense.

really? would scoring 28 points in 2024 in the rrs have won you that game? that was Texas 34-3. Texas D will be even better in 2025, with another year of experience and strength and dev for Edge Colin Simmons and lb Anthony Hill, who both tore OU up in the RRS. OU’s d was 10th in 2024, and now you lose bowman and stutsman. UT’s defense was nationally top 2. Your D was good-it wasn’t exceptional.

Yes, they do. Saying that they have no reason to be hyped ignores what makes people hyped. Signing good players, bringing in good coaches, those are reasons to be hyped. Expectations should be kept reasonable at this point, but what’s the point of being a fan if you can’t get hyped about the upcoming season?

Look I know that they sponsor the show, and I’m ignorant to a lot of the background business side of KZbin. But it’s getting tiresome seeing most of the Big OU sports creators promote gambling sites. Gambling ruins people, there’s no such thing as responsible gambling, it’s an addiction that just ruins lives, specifically here in Oklahoma. Children watch this man, and putting Fanduel in the title kinda encourages young people to look it up. It’s just not responsible.

Im not dure about the Center position. But the O-line will be two deep 4 and 5 stars at both Guard and both Tackle positions. Sure all 8 will be sophomore or freshmen. Coach Bedebaugh will have them ready and they are BIG and Talented. the WR room is the concern. Not as much size speed and overall talent.

Consider the life of Arch Manning. There has never been and never will be a player MORE prepared then him for the pressure. And anything else courtesy of three NFL QBs 4 Super Bowl wins and three Super Bowl MVPs to show him the way. AND he is as fast as Tyreek Hill. We gonna have problems 2nd Saturday in October.

the hype for Arch Manning vs jackson arnold: the hype for Manning is based off of his college performance in 2024. the hype for jackson arnold coming into 2024 was based on hope. Arch Manning in 2024 had a completion % of 67.8%; he threw for 9 TD’s and had only 2 TO’s; qb rating was 184. He also had multiple rushing tds (4) including a 67 yard rushing td. That was as the backup qb who started a couple games. I think Arch’s hype is earned.
