As of October 19, 2024, BYU is 11 and Iowa State is 10 in the AP poll. Can BYU beat UCF and Utah? They had better. That would put them 9-0 but those teams are maybe worth moving to 10 if others above lose a game. So, it really depends on if they win, how well they play, and what other teams do. Now they have a real challenge coming in Arizona State, right? We shall see. Go Cougs!

My parents were married BYU students when I was born, myself and my 3 siblings all went to BYU and all of us except me met their significant others at BYU. My dad and I just bought tickets to the big 12 conference championship last week in hopes our cougs would make it. We were sweating bullets through this game hoping they’d win. We are waiting a week or two to see if the winning continues before we book our flights 😂

Yeah, OSU did dominate BYU in the first half because Roderick is too stupid to run the ball. His play calling killed two TD drives in the first half. He didn't want to run SO BADLY he was having our RBs throw picks. I mean, it does take a genius to know you should run the ball against the worst run defense in the big 12.........

People are sleeping on Retzlaff, he could be a good day 2 prospect for a team that needs to take a flyer on a quarterback. Maybe the Dolphins could take him.

I'm hoping he stays with BYU one more season. He'll probably get more in NIL deals than he would being drafted... unless they make it FAR in the CFP, then he's got a chance at more recognition from the scouts.

Not yet, at least, Retzlaff is NOT NFL caliber. He threw 2 bonehead picks this game and made some crucial errant passes. Of course, he ran and passed well at times.

Yes, but they did win. Is there a team in the nation that has not just barely won at least one game? I think it is pretty powerful that BYU found a way to win by scoring a touchdown with less than 90 seconds left by going the entire distance of the field.
