@ - I have contemplated that a time or two - the problem is that the river depths are not maintained so if it drops while you are up there, you are stuck! But having worked in the courts there for 20 years, it is intriguing. I drove over to the marina once which is near the jail I would frequently visit.

@@doncritzer2798 - that’s pretty much how it was - once we departed the Ohio River onto the Mississippi River, we only saw 2-3 other recreational boats for the next 3 months
