The Sooners made the tough plays when they needed to. Texas made misplays that hurt. Defense inspired the Sooners. But practice and knowledge of the opponent’s pitchers allowed them to learn and execute with what they learned throughout the game. Coaching shows them what to look for and how to react in these two key elements. Throughout the year they showed us how to play the game with your head and your talent. GOAT, doesn’t matter, they we’re just too incredible and they showed they are the champs.

I watched a video of the '85 Bears years ago, and I heard JIm McMahon say, "You can't be a championship team if you have doubt in your mind." They won't always win it all, but they will be in the hunt 9, if not 10 times out of ten. Phenomenal. They play for each other. They love each other. When it was 2-0, you just knew they were going to break it open. I'll admit, that last out was hard to get, but I understand why. You're ready to celebrate, amped up.

The state of Oklahoma and Oklahoma University are very lucky to have the softball team that just finished this season and I include the coaching staff congratulations to all of you. Obviously you love winning and it shows obviously and I know you had to work your butts off to win the waste that you did it's never easy but I'm preaching to the choir anyway thanks for your sweating and busting your butts to bring this to Oklahoma love watching you play and I hope more and more people will get out and see your games next season.
