not sure if I'm getting bad groups since patch drop, or everyone is building to deal with Baal but I've been reliably winning games after the first point as plague, also it feels so much better without a car every 5 feet.

The reduction of Cars has absolutely turned things around in a game. Getting rid of them is now viable and forces the long trek which gives far more chances to get damage in and drain supplies.

Solo Q was crazy during the release. Had a Henry getting targeted throughout the entire game, Kelly on the other side of the map, and an Annie just watching it go down as I was trying to heal like crazy

Yeah, the new surge of players makes survivor queues faster than ever, but few newer players stay on demon after getting their butts clapped by teams of Prestige survivors (or at least two that can carry). I wait for Demon games now (Unheard of), but I’m leveled up enough to handle most of the teams, or at least lose with lots of SP. With SBMM turned off, it’s wildcard season.

I've been playing as a demon for a ton of time lately (none of them have prestige). I thought if I beat the whole team with prestige, it was awesome. Lately I've been playing survivors and changing my mind - I'm not the cool one, they've been looting so long (power fantasy and stuff) that I have time to kill them. Sometimes, as a support, I don't care and run to look for pieces of the map myself. The worst is when we have the second phase and the warrior, instead of supporting, runs somewhere on the other end of the map, marking the boxes:

I personally put a lot of emphasis on his aura since that is where his main strengths lie. I do think he's gonna be better as a ranged leader than a melee leader though.

I think either could work. Ranged makes sense cause you can place you shots with his ability plus more ammo is great. I have him more melee sided though still with decent balance bar ranged damage and I was pulling 30k damage with him or more at prestige 1.

I think the best comp with him since he already has considerable damage reduction for Williams members is him and ruby with maybe a wash and hash or and Ed to take care of traps cause Baal is out. That's a good team composition.

The issue with Ed though is that if the boss comes out he won't be able to use his ability.

@@wishfulbutton6676 you only need to use his ability when Baal uses his trap ability. Of course you can't use your light when he's out no one can. It's either him or keep an ash at all times or spec into light therapy.

Brock's ability alone won a game where I was Demon. I shoulda focused him bc I couldn't get a single kill in all my knockdowns AND, big and btw, they were able to save shemps for the end bc of guaranteed pickup

In my experience hunter players are the worst. Most of the time they are bad teammates when playing survivor and toxic as hell when playing demon.

@@OkMiddi My apologies for not conveying what I meant correctly. What I meant to say that it doesn't look like Baal demon character is going to carry skill-lacking players. I'm all for the game being balanced. However, balancing an asymmetric game simply *has* to be around pre-made 4 man squads. Otherwise, they'll just be dominating and causing unhappiness among the other players. It's up to the devs to find ways to close the gap between 4-man squads and solos.
