The max proficiency it's better to hold than tap, the only time you want to tap with proficiency is for locks. it's good for like you showed leland, you can have high proficiency and high strengh to hold and still get stuff quickly

Max prof is way better as it does work on both lockboxes and lockpicks and getting lockpicks is way less important and less of a struggle than opening locks as you can just make noise most of the time with lockboxes.

The only thing i tap on is the doors , crawl spaces and getting down from the start. Other than that i just hold the button because it is vastly superior than tapping it on many occasions. I only run max proficiency on connie and danny. Everyone else is kinda balanced. Edit: I run max pro on sonny and Julie as well

High-proficiency is supposed to help you turn off the car battery faster, but I don't know if it does.

Honestly, i feel the same. As someone who uses aggressive Leland and max proficiency Connie, the battery practically turns off at the same time

I think it would've been more effective if you used Leland or sonny with both test. And I dont know if you have an updated video, but you should try holding instead of spamming on the Max proficiency side.

Hey yeah that is a thiught that crossed my mind but I wanted to use a characters with each having the lowest opposite on base stats :) also someone mentioned that before aha and did do some testing, and tapping is faster :) I do need to make an updated video xD

Proficiency is good if you want to rush for the doors. If you aren’t Connie or Danny, opening doors around 1/3 faster really feels useful when you do it multiple times. I prefer stealth for the ability to quickly grab stuff without alerting and the crawlspaces because I try to take my time before I escape.

I realize that the car battery can't necessarily be interacted with unstealthily however it's my understanding that profiency helps in making that faster... so maybe the car battery interaction isn't for the topic of stealth vs pro...

I know strength effects how far you gey out of the ropes at the beginning, not sure about crawl spaces, the test was done with Leyland who has pretty high strength, and even with that plus high proficiency, he was still slower than stealth :) and yeah car battery I think is just set on a timer but I'll do some testing

I had this exact question but this is very unfairly done. If you hold down your button to search instead of spamming, it goes up way faster with max proficiency. try and remake the video and ill come watch!. But yeah, if you hold down the button its down faster but im not sure if its faster than spamming with the stealth build??

Hey, i appreciate the feedback, at first i didn't really test it as even in the tutorial it mentions that tapping in faster than holding but has a higher risk of noise, however did some testing today and some interesting results, will probably update the video, but stealth is still faster and theres only 2 interactions that are faster to hold instead of tap on proficiency :)

Havent watched it yet, but i will bet on proficiency Still think proeficiency outshines stealth in about every situation. Normally lockpicks are in secluded areas where you can take your time to get it or even go down basement if you need extra safety. Locks are in open highly patroled areas where the speed is completely needed. Maybe if you retreat to the basement midgame and don't want to give away that information, but even then, what they going to do? Go down the saffest place on the map where the person already left by the time you get there? Valve is a distraction it changes nothing alerting the killer 2s early. If you are on gas or family chances are they get there to close it and all you win is the distraction and the time waste of them goign towards it. Maybe if you are the last or there is only two people, but at that point you are already losing. Bones are only useful on leland/julie/ana, which already encourages to take agro, if they focus on you that can survive, the Connie that is more vulnerable can open everything. Crawl spaces I think is the only in which I can see the appeal, but every crawl space in the game has a crack in the wall that you can access as easily and dont need to waste time. And the video didnt take into account just holding E, that is almost as fast and can be done silently in most caracters with Max proeficiency like connie and julie. Or even situations where you can do both, do 2-3 taps, wait and then go all the way opening the valve for example, that gives a little bit of head start for the killers, but is about the same time as doing it in stealth.

Bones are useful on Sonny, not Julie. Sonny has a base strength of 35. Only Leland has a higher starting strength than him.

This was a really bad video no offense. Your timer was completely off and the proficiency user was holding back making stealth look better. Id say on average stealth gets it done twice as fast and proficiency is about twice as fast for locks. Atleast on the trials i ran for it.

@@Envixity188 stealth is useless, there's no reason to not make noise in this game since there are tons of god loops everywhere, powers that insta unlock things, second chance perks, i-frames etc... playing stealth just slows down your team and isn't worth the attribute points you should be using on toughness/proficiency
