Over here, "for adults" basically means it has alcohol in it. Sometimes it also means the more expensive trendy version of a food item at an upscale restaurant, but meant to be paired with alcoholic beverages.

The label on the lid says 510 yen before, 550 yen after tax. So almost exactly $5 or £3.80 after tax. That's pretty much average for the size and quality.
