Go back and watch Petrenko's performance from 1992 and compare it to Paul Wylie's. Now, an argument could be made that Viktor won because even though Paul had the artistic edge, Viktor completed at least two combinations and Paul, none. However, Oksana, though clearly the winner of the artistic mark, had no combinations - Nancy had two and her program was way more difficult. That aside, Petrenko & Oksana simply did not deserve their golds - they had way too many errors and their rivals didn't

John Nicks ain't God not even a figureskating expert. Just a bitter old queen. If coaches understood the rules they'd be able to use them to design a winning program. Proof most coaches don't know what they're doing. So they haven't much credibility.

How appropriate that they skated together - neither of them deserved their Olympic golds. John Nicks called Petrenko's performance "the worst gold medal winning performance I've ever seen," and both Oksana's LP and SP contained two footed landings and other slight mistakes. Paul Wylie should have won gold in 1992, and Nancy Kerrigan in 1994. Kerrigan had NO mistakes and two combinations - Oksana had no combinations and doubled a planned triple jump.
