She's the just the best. No flowers on her resting spot. Very sad. We loved her. She was just a beautuful person.

This the best live version of this song! she was in her bag here! That concert was her best pre prime era! With that perfect face and voice she could wear anything but back then that was a vibe!

This was the first hit of hers in the 80's. She was like 18 years old, I was 16- completely scandalized by the meaning of this song. Everyone fell in love with her immediately!! Takes me back - react to her old videos, she's such an icon!

For me this was the first song of her I ever heard, back in the 80s ...have been a fan of Whitney's ever since. Her vocal ability and stage presence were truly next level. Agreed Sceez, let's remember her like this versus constantly and only focusing on her lows, and drug abuse when we talk about this awesome artist. RIP.

Bebe Winans talked about that he was going to miss crazy Whitney the most after she passed. A lot of people never got to see the fun crazy young spirit Whitney, but the Winans family did and he was thankful to know that Whitney. Bebe and his sister CeCe Winans were getting ready to go out on the road for their first big tour, and Whitney called them and asked them to come over and she tells them, we're family right, and they were like yes, we are family, and family helps family right, yes, family helps family, and she tells them, and y'all broke right, they were like, well yes, so she tells them she's had stage costumes made for them and the band and she's going to go out and sing backup for them on tour at the very height of her career when she was selling out stadiums. They were, umm you can't do that you are the biggest star in the world! But she wanted to help them and she actually did appear on the Arsenio Hall Show with them singing backup like she used to for her mother! One of my favorite performances of all time is the live version of Whitney and Cece singing a more gospel version of Bridge Over Troubled Waters, they literally looked like two kids having the time of their life just singing together, and it just so happened there was an audience there. Whitney had that magnificent voice for many years, not all of her years sadly, but when she still did, there was nothing like it and as great as the recordings were, her live performances were always amazing to watch. Sadly, she wasn't the first and won't be the last to have the music industry grind them down in the end, but I'm thankful she shared her talents with us as much as she did.

Will never be another Whitney and it is far too iconic to even comment on clothes. Her Jumpsuit singing our National Anthem in 1991 at the super-bowl does not matter in the least..... It was also among many a iconic year for music... and among other artist and iconic venues they sold out that nothing this decade can touch.....

It's not possible to live in a modern developed country and not know who Whitney Houston is, no matter if you don't like R&B or Pop music because if they watch award shows at some point they would have ran into her. Now if you under 21 I can understand
