Mammary glands of any mammal are required to get extracted bcz when it fills up with milk and the milk doesn't gets out of the glands, the nerves starts to pain and later when the extreme phase arises the milk itself starts drizzling out of the glands. I have seen many unsheltered cows/buffaloes crying in pain as the milk inside is not extracted out in any way. So may be that might have happened and some man might have seen it and that's how they might have start to extract milk out of animals 😅

I have actually had camel milk when I was in Rajasthan, it is definitely not as good as cow milk, but when you make curd out of camel milk, it's the thickest ever, tastes different though....doesn't have that sourness in it
