Most South Indian delicacies- dosa, idli, moru kuzhambu, paddu, appams, avial, poriyal, sambhar, rasam... longgggg list Coming to North & West India: Curries from all vegetables... Must try the atypical dishes like Dal bati churma, kurkuri bhindi, khandvi, undiyon, dhokla, stuffed capsicum/tomato, dahi bhindi/aloo/lauki, palak kadhi, lauki/palak kofte, arbi ki sabzi... & n no. Of delectable snacks... East of India has Shukto, Dalna, alu jhuri, begun bhaja, beguni, pakhal bhat, koraishutir kachuri, dhuska, pittha, thukpa, jhalmuri... It's unending... Internationally... Enchiladas, tacos, Quesadillas, burritos, Suksuka, Eggplant Fatoush, Khow suey... Unending list again.... But Ratatouille for me takes the cake❤️❤️❤️ Let me not get started on the variety in sweet dishes & salads... Umpteen... M hungry now🙈 Ok Bye...

Shukto, panch torkari, Mochar ghonto (banana flower), dhoka curry, begun bhorta, aloor dum, aloo posto (poppy seeds with potato) Moral of the comment you don't need to pay a big amount for veg food excluding paneer. As a Malayali, I've never seen those combinations with Kappa and Idiyappam. Kappa goes well with Shallot chutney (chamandhi) and Idiyapoam goes well with black chane ki sabzi. There are few more amazing combinations in different areas, but that Korma and that other sabzi was the weirdest one. Da Robin, where were you?

Ofcourse the taste might differ a little bit from hotel to hotel , depends on the cook) Puliyogare Chitanna( lemon rice) Mosaranna ( curd rice) Uppitu/ upma Kesari bath Tomato bath Vangi bath Ragi mudhe ( ball) and sambar Shavige bath ( semiya bath),etc etc etc... (Note:- south Indians hardly prepare anything out of paneer😂😂)

there r so many Vegetarian dishes that we eat in day to day life, we eat these in Jharkhand as our home food(and u can add more) Litti Chokha veg Chowmin veg Manchurian palak ka saag aur v dher sara saag kadhi chawal rajma chawal chole bhature aalo dum fried aalo ( we call it aalo bhujia) fried Bhindi( bhindi bhujia) bhindi ki sabji baigan ka chakta baigan ki sabji parwal ki sabji and the list goes on just open ur eyes guys and look around 😄

I'm a malayali, and I've never heard malayalees having Kappa with vegetable kurma. Kappa with ULLI & KANTHARI MULAKU CHAMMANTHI🤤(shallot and bird's eye chilli chutney) or any other chutney!! And idiyappam, yes there are some people who have it with kurma but best with coconut milk and sugar or kadala curry(black chickpeas curry)🤩 Where's Joshua & Robin?? Vegetarians explore Karo 😂 They knew there are literally 100s of different dishes in Indian cuisine that are Vegetarian Problem is most restaurants don't have much variety and the easiest choice left is paneer Say you like undhiyu (a Gujarati dish) or gatte ki sabzi or sarso ka saag or etc dish, one cannot know whether a particular restaurant have good tasting and quality of that dish Paneer is simply a easier choice for restaurants Otherwise we Indians, have various various vegetarian dishes to savour

Costal konkani people have a dish similar to iddiyappam it’s called shevaya they are eaten with sweet coconut milk. No one makes it now a days cause it’s time consuming and requires a wooden mold for the noodles. It’s basically rice flour steamed and than we put it in the wooden mold to make noodles out of it.

Kisne bola vegetarian ke paas Paneer ke alawa koi aur option nahi hai. Mein kehthi hu ki Non vegetarians ke pass mostly Chicken aur lamb ke alawa aur koi option nahi hai. Bas vohi do cheez ko different tarah se banakar dish serve kiya jata hai, kam se kam vegetarians ke paas Kitne sare options hai Dal {pulses}, fruits, Vegetables.
