So new 30s reels have to have this upgrade drag? Maybe there are more quality reels where one doesn’t have to do this at new purchase? I maybe didn’t make right choice on reels for Dipsys

Great video! Thanks for sharing. I tried this on a new 303d and free spooling level wont automatically return when reeled. Could this be a bad spring? It does seem to be a little deformed. Thanks again!

Honestly why cant they just upgrade their drags from stock. Its only $15 more
