Nice review. I have the Okuma Ceymar C-10 and it has not missed a beat and I wouldn’t expect any less from the Jaws. Okuma makes great reels for the budget conscious fisho.

Hy! I have an Okuma Epixor 10/40 258cm rod... Will this 5000 reel be too big for me? Should I take maybe 3000 or 4000? Thank you🙏🏻

Hey @XY........, Hope all's well and you're finding a fish. I am unfamiliar with the rod that you have mentioned - Epixor 10/40 - so that makes things a bit tricky, however important things to consider are the size of the reel foot and whether it will fit the reel seat on the rod. If you require the size / line capacity of the larger reel and it fits the reel seat, then it should be fine on a rod of that length. If you are unsure, the 4000 size should definitely fit the reel seat on a rod of that length. It will come down to the fishing you're doing, the requirements that you have of the reel and how it balances on the rod. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin

Yes. I have them. The size 30 and 40. Okuma goes with those numbers. They are equivalent to the numbers 3000 and 4000.
