I m also faced this same problem. After one week of purchase, around 10.30pm i parked my ola near the hyper charge station at thrissur kerala. 2 vehicles are already waiting so i waited for my turn. Once i try to switch on this same complaint appears. I tried to reset but no reponse. But god grace i drag my bike near the charger and connected screen turn on and then unlocked.

Is your scooter from the initial lot? If yes then the plug that connects to the display might be loose. It's a manufacturing defect.

Yes it’s from the initial lot, ola service guy came and tried everything and said it’s not working. They also confirmed that the batters has charge in it. Waiting for Ola to pickup the scooter.

First initiate emergency request on the ola app, and also I would suggest to pay for Ola care + if you don’t have already! That is the only way you can get things done ASAP! Accha hai ki khud ke ghar pe problem hua hai. Agar raste mein problem hota to kya karoge. I have face the problem on the way. Customer care not responded.for 4 hours. They say leave the scooter there and their mechanic will pick up the same. But they take no responsibility if the same is theft or damaged. So I had to stay for more than 4hours on the road. I suggest all not buy the ola scooter. At least it should have option to unlock the handle. If you are using this then it's your own risk. Because you can't repair in outside garage.

Don't purchase ola electric scooter. It's waste of money. It gives lot of issues. Even a newly delivered one develop snag. Service is very poor. If you complain it will take 3 weeks to 3 months to attend service by ola. Lot of problems told by customers who bought ola. If you want problems and wish to waste your money and time purchase ola scooter.

This happened with me when i visited my village where i was having network issue ,it happens due to esim in ola which makes software to be in deadlock

1) Make sure you pay for Ola care plus 2) Request for emergency assistance from the app 3) Use twitter and tweet, and make sure to tag OlaElectric. Social media team will call you and get things done fast.
