In quick succession to his recently released hit "Bobo", YBNL Star Olamide, hits the waves with yet another single "Melo Melo".
The song, which is quite different from his usual rap music, is a love song about being happy and content in love and features ballet dance scenes and sonorous instruments. It is directed by talented Moe Musa.

for those who doesn't understand the language, the music is appreciating true love from a girl. He reminiscent on genuine love from the girl even when it seems there was no hope of making it, she was there for him. He also regret hurting the girl in one way or the other, and apologize.

This why I love Moe Musa. He has this distinct manner in which he translates the song into a story. Although I'm not Nigerian and I don't understand Yoruba, I'd find myself being like wait, I kinda get what this song is about, suffice to to say that Moe is the most sought after music vid director in the game. I don't even needa say nothing about Baddo, this song just yet another reason I'm all over him.

I never ever comment on videos but this is absolutely beautiful! you have to love art/literature to really appreciate this song. The mix between the traditional drums/piano/orchestra and his voice, the native adages and the ballerinas, one would expect traditional dancers but this was even more beautiful! I initially wanted to give a blasting comparison btwn Moe Musa versus Clarence Peters, but by the 8th replay, I got it so louder and clearer...The classical-ballerina concept awakens the in-depth emotional context that is solely starring Olamide in a now lonely moment amidst non-bragging heights of achievement, recasting accounts of the unrivaled Lady who stood by him when there was so much of nothing...Oh so much untold within the innumerable chapters of the coin. #respecttothewomenwhohelpeddefineourgiganticleaps #melomelo #ybnl #olamide #socrayhte

Mary-Anne Ogunleye Oh, it would amaze you i haven't been anywhere close to being a literature student...Guess my moms taught me well; Even though didn't like most of the experience, I accepted the teachings and it's been a driving force every where I showcase it! Thanks for appreciating!

its a proverb thats has a rhetorical meaning.. what he is trying to say here is that she gave him sweetness and bitterness like a biscuits but he wanted just sugar... then he realize nothing can be perfect so..
