Please, which kick and hihat module did u use here? Also the reverb, which one is it and is it connected to the mixer or does it sit in the rack?

Jef Damen on this video the kick is a vermona kick lancet, the hihats come from the mutant hihats (808) and a novation drum station (909). the reverb is from the internal fx of the behringer xenyx mixer.

thanks man! yeah. read books about the stuff and if you don't have the money for a good synth or eurorack, get max/msp and do tutorials and stuff

Jef Damen plus, you can't react or improvise because it's not hands-on. mapping every important button would be a brainfuck.

OLAN Indeed, a touchscreen will help but nothing beats tactile finger control... Plus, the resolution of the knobs on a computer aren't as accurate as the real thing. Anyway i think the softube modular is a good and reasonable cheap way to get to know how it works before spending 5k on something u don't know anything about...

hi. thanks! kinda , yes. rings and bass are sequenced from bsp, most of the drums too. the rest is sequenced from two modular thing turing machines

OLAN ok great thank you. I am preparing my modular project, are there specific modules or techniques you would recommand to get those flying space bleeps and blops you got around 20 minutes ? that part makes me wanna sell my house for modular ahaha

haha! no specific modules. for those bleeps i use mutable instruments tides as oscillator. but you could also use any sine or triangle oscillator with a bit of waveshaping. the filter is actually a low pass gate (from doepfer). everything is sequenced by the turing machine.
