Hellkitten makes a good point. If you are a dark or brown haired girl (as am I!) and love blonde, then your natural hue is probably warmish, your hair looks reddish in the sun and turns orange if you lighten it a bit. This technique is subtle, the ends are lighter. Consider whether you want a warm tone, reddish, golden or honey blonde (suits most brown haired girls) or a neutral beige tone (works well on brown hair going grey (mine) or cool. Ash or silver. People with this hair colour naturally (as kids) often have very blue eyes and cool toned skin, or dark hair with very little red in it that lightens up without going too orange or yellow. Most hair has the orange tones. Ash/silver is very pretty but might not suit you if you are a warm toned skin, with hazel or brown eyes - and if you are an older lady, it might add years, stick to warmer shades. Try a few coloured wigs first or an app that fakes your hair colour. Good luck. L x.

at first I was like: "😱 her hair is orange!" then I saw the end result after toner and got it. its better that he did not lift all the way, it turned into a softer more natural blonde at the end. for the record, I like her brunette look too. whatever she likes is fine anyways. all Im saying is great job Tom!

Cath Martin I actually don't think her brunette hair looked dull though. It's pretty obvious her hair was ready to get work done on it. She likely didn't wash her hair before bleaching/lightening it. If her hair was washed and styled, it would look much different than in the video. You don't have to tell me to pipe down. It's not like I was saying "you're terrible for titling the video like so". I simply said I don't like it.

Tom smith, i saw a really cool trick as olaplex is dam expensive. when putting it in at the bowl they put down cling wrap over the drain so any extra olaplex that runs off hair is collected and u use tip of bottle to suck it back up and apply again. you'd be surprised how much is collected. just something i saw.
