As a stylist, I was really disappointed reading the negative comments. I understand constructive criticism, but some of these comments are just rude and uncalled for. I think this is beautiful work and every color I've seen from this channel I'm inspired by and have done those techniques and turned out gorgeous. It's a shame that as stylists we don't motivate each other but instead attack and insult. Beautiful work! Thanks for posting!
@justjessiiii8 жыл бұрын
Thank you SO much! I completely agree. Our industry is really hard. We all do things differently, and color is tricky enough! I think we should all uplift and support each other instead of tearing down other stylists we have never met. Thank you for your support!!😘

A tip for all colourist- The foam straps you see can be purchased by companies that make them for hairdressing, but they are around $ 20 for 100 pieces in a box.They are just made from POLIETILENO. Which is commonly used in protective packaging.You can buy it at any hardware store for $8 and get around 49 ft squared !

Great job , first time seeing some post a video with someone with dark hair and turn out awesome on the first visit. I love love Guy Tang but get real we as hairstylist don't have 6-8 hours to only do 1 client a day like he does lol . Awesome job doll👍🏻💕😀

+brama he does an amazing job, he spends many hours on his clients and charges a lot. He's famous enough to have less clients who pay more, most stylists can not spend all that time on one person so, the client will need multiple visits.

Turned out better than went I went to get an ombre done a few years back at a salon. Paid around 200 for a disaster. Wanted a small trim my hair was below boobs and wanted a dirty blonde like ciara had a while back .came out with hair so short it wouldn't even teach my shoulders and completely orange/yellow hair. I cried my whole way home . Got an email later from the girl saying she was having a bad day and to go in so she could work on it. This was after she had said it came out perfect after she was done . Haven't been to a salon since then. Scare to death . So to me you did great.

For all the people complaining about that the blond looks green. It's the yellow lighting in the background who gives that illusion, I think in natural sun light you can really see how beautiful it turned out. And btw the blond always lighten up by time through the sun, it doesn't look dull. For all the people complaining about that too, a good hairstylist has to calculate that in, so the end result looks good. And for me, she did a really good job here!

It's obvious, those who choose negativity really aren't worth much. Lions don't lose sleep over thoughts of sheep. On another note, I have first hand experienced Jessica's work, and she has always taken so much care of my hair. This was amazing! U did a really great job❗️I've done this on my own level 3-4 hair,& no matter what technique, or volume of bleach I use- brassiness is always gonna show up.. I've never tried 6T by shades, but I think I will the next time I do my hair. 7VM+purple +blue pigment by Kenra(Guy Tang collection) is what I use currently on all my brunettes (& my own) when I ombré, or balayage- just don't apply it to the ends, only the roots & transition area- works every time,& looks AMAZING!!

You should use 6p on its own to smudge the top of the Balayage! Sometimes you get a little more warmth where you blur because you don't saturate it as much as the ends. The 6p helps to cut it :)

It’s beautiful! People fail to realize she prob had artificial Brown in her hair which lifts warm her hair actually looks like she pulls warm... and that green everyone is seeing is lighting and that will wash out in like 1 shampoo.. I think it went too ashy because you used too much T... the P and maybe some V would have been better... adding ash to brassy hair is a gamble.. people don’t realize the process I personally love it! The placements of the highlights was spot on 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I love the quality of your video and your personality. Although I do agree with some of the critique comments I’m sure in the end you did your best with what you had to work with. At the end of the day we can only ask for the best from ourselves at that moment. You had some great technique tip in there..but we are always learning as hair artists and anyone who is humble and successful knows this. No one truly knows our situation unless they are fully behind our chair. We should always keep learning and let our passions shine through 👍🏼

Her hair turned out really nice but because her hair is dark, dark hair tends to pull red I’m sure you know this. It looked a little red on the top in some places and the toner you used did have a green undertone which is why in the light it looked green. Overall the technical execution was great and her cut is cut! Just some details that could have been more focused I found some of these things out doing balayages as well. Just trial and error but keep up the good work!

I think is nice the only thing I don't like with this balayage method is that if you don't go all the way to the top like you did with your client, then your roots will look darker and it looks more like is regular hightlights in the "need of a touch up"

There's too much blue tone in your shades we formula- plus the grey-black background in the 6t makes her hair appear very muddy. Try pre-toning with a neutral/violet based gloss then go back and tone with a cooler/blue based to cancel out the remaining warmth (especially if she pulled more on the golden side as you noted).
