80s was the golden time. only 1 house will have TV in a locality and around 25 people will sit and watch it and there are only 2 channels. We enjoyed watching these ads and still remember it. But now every house has atleast 2 TVs and countless TV channels but dont enjoy or remember anything shown on TV..

Yes it comes with more risks but life is also better I remember when I first came to the US, phone calls were expensive - remember Trunk Calls and the shouting? I was writing letters Now? Im holding a beer glass right now and watching this.. But believe me guys that Rasna ad made me cry for my most beloved drink.. when my father used to bring Rasna pack during summer and I, a school boy, used to make and store 1.5 ltr of Rasna concentrate in fridge.. The schedule is to play cricket whole day and have Rasna (Orange) every now and then.. when the syrup was about to finish, used to make more diluted and somehow survive the summer.. i m emotional now.. and can corroborate that every kid who went to school in 90s can feel my emotion.. i loved my life and grateful to the almighty to have had chance to cherish such sweet memories.. :)

So many brands have disappeared. Our first TV was called Niki Tasha in 1989. Second was Solidaire. 90s were weird, so many foreign brands entered India. Some failed like Nestle Milo and Canada Dry.

Just observing... first commercial Superdust chai...had a little boy serving chai...child labour was so common and taken for granted that the Ad makers and Principal companies did not feel untoward in showing in their promo Ad. Glad times are changing and we do not see much of child labour now...
