Yes ... these are the worst possible for gold recovery. Best for them is cyanide based gold stripping agent. Everything else is a waste of time and chemicals. Thank you Dusan for the informative video!

Yeah i use iodine for that type of material too. For me that is the best way to do it.

ENIG is one of the most deceiving and frustrating materials to work with. The cost of chemicals here in the U.S. as done in this video comes out to about $2-$3 for about $5 in gold. Great method to get the gold with little acid and fast. 👍

1st i did that process i threw away pins that had cemented gold On them didnt realize till i tried to drop the ar and only got a dust coating .but it is hard to run that amount of pins through a sulfuric cell and stay with a profit .sulfuric acid is most expensive of the 3 for me

I understand it’s just a test and although that was not a lot of gold it still is gold and proof of the process. As far as quality I’m sure a little borax in the furnace process will help. So keep up the good work I appreciate what I can learn from you.

Happens, when pH is too low (acid too concentrated). Add water to dilute AR with gold. Increase the volume of solution 2-3 times. Good thing to disolve SMB in water first and add the SMB in form of solution.

Yes this is low grade pins and 1 kilogram gives you 0,2-0,3 gram of gold!

Sorry... but that process is too much work, its too finicky of a process, and too many chemicals for those gold plated pins. I would just use iodine process to leach the gold, its a safer method. Or electrolysis, the safest method. At worse HCL and bleach. These are faster, cheaper and easier processes.
