I love the planter that you made! I am always looking for interesting planters! A decent size planter is getting to be so expensive!! This one is an original and you did it yourself! I had my doubts about it when you were painting it black but it came out beautifully! Up north here we still have snow all over the ground. We don’t have Blue Birds here. I know that they are big eaters. We sure have bugs here during the summer but not this time of year. I hope those hawks leave and stay away! They bother our little birds here, too. Oh, those birds remember their food sources alright. I take fresh seed out every morning to my platform bird feeder. I fill the other feeders about every two or three days. This time of year those birds empty the feeders quickly because the snow and ice are covering all their other food sources. My bird feeder station is a busy place this time of year.

Oh,Ms Helen- when you said bluebirds- I could jump for joy!! I put up bird feeders when my daughter was about 3 ( she’s 21 now!) and all these years I’ve wished for bluebirds to show up. Well- as of this last Summer 2021)- we now have 2 that have decided that our feeders are the place to be! When I’m having a sad day- it only takes a peek out the window to see all my bird friends!

That little baby has more hair than some adults, her daddy is going to be standing at the door way when the fellas come around that's for sure. What a blessing for you all to have such sweet families. Your just fit as a fiddle Miss Helen and your content always has projects people can learn to do for themselves. This is an incredible looking pot and an original, that's what makes it one of a kind. Your so talented. 😁 I had a young Hawk sitting in my tree beside the house where I feed my English Sparrows and I'm sure he was a young one from the the Hawk I befriended last summer while hiking the Canyon. I since have moved the feeder because I made a screen for it and hung it underneath and that scared all my birds off since. The Sparrows were so wasteful I had to make the seed catcher. Loved the video. Bluebirds are my favorite birds. We had some that built a nest and raised their babies in our birdhouse. They would come right up to our railing when I “called” them by banging on a saucer with mealworms in it. They even brought the babies up there snd fed them on our railing to our porch.
