An amazing Otis bird cage elevator, 116 yrs in service when the video was shot back in 2014, it was built to last. Yes, I hope it's still in use a decade later. 126 yrs of service. Preserve this historic elevator. The operator said it was a 3 story building, good bet ti's a basement winding drum.
