Great Demo. I love Old Blood but sometimes I pull them off the board because they aren't stereo. Sometimes I'll fix that by running it through a neutralish hall setting on my Big Sky. Need the Haunt to complete the set.

Word, they are certainly nice. I need to pick up the Reflector and the Black Fountain. Those are my favorite. This would have been if it had a level control.

I do love the ambient qualities of this pedal but will it not do a good job of replacing the tank reverb on my jcm 800 for a more subtle reverb with a overdrive channel?
@koreyfyep7 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I'm not confident on its abilities to be somewhat subtle. It's primarily a huge spacious reverb.

Best demo of this pedal I've seen so far! Could I use is also as a simple reverb just to wet my sound a little bit and to give it ab bit more room?
@koreyfyep8 жыл бұрын
+metarok22 I think 6:52 is one of the tamest sounds I have in this demo. It doesn't really do a splash of reverb well. It is coined as a "Pad Reverb" so it's definitely more of a textural thing. Thanks though!!! That's high praise!
@MegaBrebis4 жыл бұрын
Thank you. What's the use of the Hold switch? Does that mean you can play a chord, freeze it and play on top of it?
@koreyfyep4 жыл бұрын
The wet signal will hold. So it won't freeze the entire signal. Just make the wet reverb bits hold while pressed down.
@ThrashTilGrave8 жыл бұрын
is it me or the guitar signal comes first and then the reverb? why's that?
@koreyfyep8 жыл бұрын
Well yeah, there is certainly some pre-delay. There are a lot of reverbs that have this to varying degrees. Some people are alright with it some people can't stand it.
@LoftOfTheUniverse8 жыл бұрын
+Korey FY!EP does this pedal always have the same pre delay or can it be removed?
@koreyfyep8 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately there is no pre-delay control. Just something you have to live with. I've played better and worse in this department.

@dorielementary4 жыл бұрын
What is the difference between version 1 and version 2?
@koreyfyep4 жыл бұрын
The biggest thing that sets them apart is that the Version 2 has an internal trimpot for output so you can tweak your output to taste. Something I really found to be a problem in this first one but love that it was resolved. I really like having a bit of a boost when I do close to 100% mix on reverbs.

great demo! Can I use it simply as a freeze of the reverb if I turn off controls 1 and 2?
@koreyfyep8 жыл бұрын
Thanks, and you know. I'm not sure. I don't have it right now but if I remember correctly, I'm not sure it'll just freeze out like that.
@tlocking17 жыл бұрын
Great demo! Did you ever pick up V2 of this pedal? Wondering if the improvements were noticeable.
@koreyfyep7 жыл бұрын
I haven't yet unfortunately. I don't know if it was just chance or whatever but I know a few dudes that recently got custom color V2s that had issues. Honestly, the most compelling fix they did with the V2 is that there is an output trimpot inside and in my opinion that is crucial because you run into some weirdness with your output on some of the way gnarlier settings. I'll still eventually pick one up. I just have so much gear I've been trying to sort out and get for camera gear and guitar gear alike. hahaha
@tlocking17 жыл бұрын
Understandable haha. Yeah, from the reviews I've read it seems like it can be pretty fickle, but its unruliness is also a big part of its appeal for me. So long as its not unusable. Anyways, again, great demo and thanks for your input. It really is a damn cool pedal.
@koreyfyep7 жыл бұрын
No problem. If I end up with an updated one soon there will be an updated demo quickly following. ha And thanks for the kind words.
@Rogerthat1444 жыл бұрын
I would like to add that I also had a v2 with some issues... it seemed to have a grounding problem, as it added hum to my rig and touching the footswitches by hand reduced the hum. Talking about the footswitches, these did not seem very solid and on several occasions the bypass did not respond correctly. So in the end... I loved the pedal, but hated their quality control. Returned it, but kinda want something similar now. Might go check out the MOOD, as it combines OBNE effects with Chase Bliss build quality.
