Part 2 of my 3 part Vid series on the old knive my Father has, and lent to me to come pick up and look over. Once again all Victorinox / Swiss Army knives in this one as well. A much wider range of types, sizes, editions, and styles.

the one with llines they are hook sharpeners petrified wood 100 ann. swiss champ so far very collectable //cocobola champ didn't see the pres ones ever/ dang they are rare they are shippied with oil on them and it dries to a brownish color/.ducks unlimited ivron scales/ nice collection worth about 15-2000 to a collector thanks for bringing them out

Wow I was so impressed by your video, I have seen so many vids on Swiss Army Knifes but this was just the best on a great range of different Victorinox. I spent 20 years in the US Army, with all the high speed knifes out there I always had my old reliable with me the Swiss Army. Thank you so much very sharing. While on vacation to Switzerland I bought a Swiss camper besides my Swiss Champ that is my favorite.

I have maybe 300 classics, and about 50 a lox vics. Condition is everything for collectors, and your's all appear factory perfect. I believe the Bush Pres. classic is pretty rare, and would guess valued at $75+. Great collection.

That is one awesome collection. That large knife with the rubber handle and combo saw bottle opener and screwdriver that your thinking of keeping I believe it was called the safari its a very collectable Swiss Army knife that knife and a similar knife made for the German army are usually prized items in a Swiss Army knife collectors collection hold on to that one for sure.

Nice video man. The oil that you are finding on the knives is either still from when they were new off the line so that everything opened smooth and it is a good thing to oil them from time to time to keep from pitting just from age.

The big one with saw is german army knife, GAK, issued to Bundeswehr, old model, but the army version was of course green, not red. Nice find by the way.

the 1984 commemorative model is a Champion model of SAK, probably worth about $150-200 based on how important the "commemorative" status of the knife is to the buyer. the wood handles one is a Champion Plus, same as above but with pliers.

I suggest placing silica gel in your box there if you're going to store them more, prevents moisture and oxidation, those are really valuable collection not just in money terms.

Boom, yep good call, since these are mostly my father's knives I had not much to do with the storing process of them, however since going through them all I have added silica gel/desiccants to the storage process both with these and my own knife and gun collections. Thanks for the comments

The knife with the big saw and rounded corners emblem is a Safari. It originally came with a metal guard to protect the extra sharp saw. I am not sure if this was a brand acquired by victorinox or if it was a secondary brand. It is Swiss made, not German.

Update on my previous comment. The knife I'm talking about is a Wenger Safari. The rounded corners Swiss emblem is that of late 1980s Wenger

Hey Nick. Sweet collection. I was wondering, the Harley Davidson knife with the case, flashlight and ruler/mag. glass/compass/tmp gauge combo, is that a limited run? I looked for one the instant I saw yours and had no luck. Any advice on how I can find one of those?

Tyler, Thanks man I appreciate it. I believe any Harley Davidson pieces that they do usually are only made for a limited time. I do not see any series number on the knife however I am pretty sure it was most likely a short run they did for them and then moved on.

Can anyone help me here? I have a small victorinox Swiss army knife my grandfather gave me and I don't know which one it is! It looks like a classic, has the same tools as a classic, but instead of a tapered end to the file, it's a point, like the knife. As your father, I have a large collection of SAK and I can not stop buying them. I'm sorry to use them not to scratch. Do you use your SAK in your collection every day, or keep it as me and admire them. Otherwise very beautiful and rare collection.

Ivan, I appreciate the comments. These are mainly my dad's knives and he has just kept them in pristine unused condition for the most part. The SAK's that I have I would say I use the standard ones in a regular EDC rotation, however the higher end ones (such as mother of pearl, or collecter/limited editions) I do as you do and display them or admire them from afar.
