Great collection dude, The only reason why I'm not a big fan of swiss army knives... Or any kind of knife that doesn't Lock in place, I don't like this because it can close on your fingers and...Well we all know how that would turn out.

I would not really call myself a collector, more an addicted user 😎 almost every knife I have sees good hard use. If I had a safe queen or two it would be my Cybertool 41 (Retired) or my SwissBianco Carver (LE Semi-Custom). You can still get both of them if you look but they are not cheap for an SAK. I keep looking to grab another 41 used just to have a beater for EDC.

you don't need to cut off the pen blade just because it is not suitable for children. you can get the SAK without blade for her. most likely those models do come with scissors (similar in size to the Classics scissors). if she is too young to handle even metal small scissors, you might want to consider toy SAKs which are entirely made of plastics (for even younger kids)...

picked up the Orchid 2016 Cadet for the wife, she carries it everyday. will get a pink one for October Breast Awareness for her. personally thinking of doing a collector on Alox 93mm series.... currently have and use the retired Harvester, love the hawkbill pruner blade. thought of collecting all the alox pruners then decided if doing this would just try for all of them (Pokemon fever?) pioneer, pioneer X, farmer, rancher, harvester, electrician, are some names.... a quick search shows about 30 different 93mm alox models. if wanting to get all colors for the farmer, 24 different colors for the one model. in my EDC, an awl and saw is preferred over scissors, although the SAK field master ( I have one, the huntsman with phillips instead of corkscrew) has all the tools I would desire, just not available in ALOX. my ideal would be bring back the Harvester, add scissors to have the Harvester-X, like the Pioneer X but with added wood saw, replace can opener with pruner blade. one can dream.... tempted to see what cost would be to have 100 custom Harvester X made, and sell them like Swiss Blanco does.

awesome collection. I gave my fiance a Hunstman for VD and I carry a Swiss Champ everyday. As big as the Swiss Champ is, I find it very easy to carry in my change pocket above the right front pocket on my pants. The Swiss Champ covers 95 percent of all the tools Victorinox offers. Say Heah FW, I needed a awl, since my vintage .B.O.A. Knife was on its last leg, I really didn't need a saw since I used my Folding Jab Saw which I put a wood blade on it, I did get a Puma Warden with a Saw but I sill prefer my J folding jab saws, I did get recently a Gerber 600 Multi Tool just because it has a awl, it's Ok but too bulky, but I do take it into the bush, That's where I use my knivrs, Although I got so use to carrying my vintage Camillus Silver Sword #836 or my Western Nature Small Lock Blade, Oh, sometimes I carry my Top's Mini Scandi Knife as my E D C as a neck carry. I once saw a video and a guy I know on KZbin did a Wenger Ranger get 78 video on it, and I said, I want one, but it didn't have a Awl, so I let it go, Then I wanted one again, this time I couldn't find one. Then I got a catalog from S.M.K.W. and in the middle of it I found a Victorinox just like the Wenger I wanted and with a Awl, so I got one, and it's a beauty, It's much larger than I thought and I'm glad I got a pouch for it, I don't loose my pocket knives as much, I shared a post on KZbin that I got one, but I posted mine didn't have a corkscrew, Then the guy replied and said, He used his Corkscrew to untangle knots, now I wish I would of got one with a corkscrew, but I wanted a Awl, anyhow not too long ago I got a vintage Myerchin Marlin Spike Pocket Knife and it's a beauty, But I'm just so excited with my new buy, I got the Victorinox Delemont Collection Ranger Grip 78 it's almost just what I want, Infact it is what I wanted, It's a rather large pocket knife, and it took all of the game between New England and Denver to find out the steel Victorinox use, and I found out that they use the X55CRMO14 Vin: 1.4116 the ore there doesn't have as much Sulfer as our ore, so it's purer, anyhow I want one of those aluminum handle Vic, I want a awl any suggestions where I can get a good price. , , ,
