I love how in the very end he says "On the turnpike" like it's some creepy horror movie destination.

I heard the song Blue Eleanor on Pandora one day and I couldn't beleive how amazing the song was. Then, after searching all over for more of their music, I find out they aren't that big yet. Their music is amazing, lyrics, beat, harmony, vocals, and all. This guys need better representations cause I know they can make it big.

I heard a long long time ago that there was supposed to be a follow up to Early Morning Hymns, but I have yet to see it. Considering that Peregrine (the last Appleseed Cast album) wasn't really that hot, I don't see why they Crisci doest focus more on Old Canes.

And you see, I didn't know where he had gone with it. so to the most of my knowledge, it was a group that had 1 album. Now I know there is more.

"Not big yet"? Not to be argumentative, but I think Chris Crisci is as big as he wants to be. His main act "The Appleseed Cast" already has 7 full length albums out. They are a great band, whose music has evolved a ton over the years. They are touring right now to support their latest album, which has a great post-rock feel. I don't think Chris is out there to "make it big," rather he just wants to write music he loves. Old Canes was just a stop along the way for Chris.

I wouldn't group this, musically, with Appleseed. The energy and songwriting is obviously similar though.

I don't believe the goal of a good musician is to be big. Guess I won't be killing myself.
