Pretty much all Morrisons sites built between 1998 and 2004 had Wesumat W92’s installed (the later installations had WashTec branding). While some managed to escape the Primus replacements unscathed, it wouldn’t be long before they were all wiped out with Istobal M12 and M’NEX22 replacements. Morrisons car washes were well and truly at their very best when they still had Wesumat SoftWash W92’s with yellow and blue PE spiral brushes, they were far more superior and efficient than the vast majority of the rollovers that replaced them. Nice video buddy, once again it is surprising to see that this Primus is in far better condition than many of the remaining handful, despite being out of service for a couple of years!

I do think this will probably end up getting replaced soon as the lady in the shop told me it’s extremely unreliable despite only reopening a couple days before I filmed it. I wonder if we will see another second hand Tesco unit here with green brushes in the future.

It only reopened a couple weeks ago, Morrisons sold their petrol stations to MFG who have reopened a lot of abandoned Morrisons Car Washes and they have replaced some.
