OLD COD NOT Coming To Game Pass?
Today we take a trip down memory lane as I load up black ops 1 on my xbox series x and discuss the new cod reveal event and how we didn't get any new information when it comes to old cod games on game pass. I discuss the possible reasons why microsoft and activision didn't discuss old call of duty games coming to game pass while sharing my thoughts and opinions!

I hope you all enjoy today's video! I was excited about the black ops 6 reveal and loved the black ops 6 reveal however it was a massive disappointment to not hear any new information about cod games on game pass. Let me know your thoughts and opinions down below but I am massively disappointed to not hear any new old cod games on game pass information and I'm not sure when to really expect any information if they are even considering to put old cod games on game pass.

I agree, I would love to jump on Cold War or BO1, but Microsoft have not dropped any games at all, luckily we have PS and Cold War has been dropped for free on there

they will come to game pass but as of right now they are fixing stuff currently what they fixed 4 days ago is on mw3 and bo1 the player count which was bugged out they completely fixed this it used to say 127k people online now on a good day 5k which is accurate the next fix could be applied to mw2 instead of showing 0 players to the total current players i do also feel like bo2 will be fixed soon they are working on it but slowly i do expect them to fix everything in the upcoming year 2025 so my guess is all the old cods will be added to the pass between now and mid 2025

I hope this is the case that would have been better if they communicated that they are doing this but then I guess if they are still planning to add them to game pass they are trying to keep a surprise element to it as well I imagine will have to just wait and see now 👀

Microsoft hasn't talked about any games from Activision Blizzard coming to game pass besides like two games they ain't said nothing about crash Spyro Tony hawk and many other games that including call of duty. So I wouldn't worry about it, it will happen soon I'm sure.

Very true mine and many others thought this would be a good time to at least discuss old cod games on game pass. On the other hand i imagine they didn't want to derail the hype for black ops 6 by announcing old cod games for game pass as well. Will have to wait and see I guess but hopefully something but most likely will be next year now if I was to guess 😅

Hopefully they will come to game pass soon especily pc game pass as it is insane that they charge the prices they do. I wonder if that is because of the modding community for these games on pc though

Well. Being that every single one of the showcase games is coming to game pass. I think it's likely they just didn't focus on any of the old. Of course, they will bring some of the old titles to game pass. That's why they bought the company to have those titles on Game Pass, which appears to be what they are doubling down on for their future in gaming. Game Pass appears to be the future of Xbox. Otherwise, they wouldn't focus so hard on the day one games.

fiquei bastante empolgado com os anúnicos no showcase dia 9. O único ponto que me decepcionou foi justamente essa questão dos COds antigos e essa demora para entrar no gamepass. Acredito que o momento agora de ao menos informar datas e aproveitar o hype antes do lançamento do BO6 e adicionar alguns cods mais antigos. I think old cods will come, but just like with other studio acquisitions it takes time, it could be contractual so maybe 12 months post acqusition or because of agreements with online store vendors i.e playstation store, or whatever they use on pc

I understand the gen 7 games, but at least give us the gen 8 games, spend all that money and only give us the hyped game and not the easier ones.

My guess would be that they're working on a "MCC" so to speak, but for COD games. I don't think they just want to drop a bunch of old games with no fan fare. I think they want to do something special now that they own COD.

Would be awesome but I can't see activision wanting to get behind that as I think a MCC but for cod would massively impact future cod sales for them so I think they would avoid this until cod declines really would be awesome if they are planning this though!

I cant believe why old call of duty games are still on high price on even on sale times. But other companies games that are old is very cheap in every platform thats why i waiting for game pass release but i guss it will be delay for some years 😢

The 360 marketplace shutting down doesn’t affect anything for any cod game other than the 360 version of bo3 because it’s all backwards compatible

All they have to do is whipe theatre mode clean and it’s fixed… hackers will be in may game game pass or not… sea of thieves has hackers and is on game pass as well… the CEO of Xbox Sarah Bond actually did talk about activision games coming to game pass she said “the whole slate” she talked about it in the interview about studio closures

Well if these games ever come to gamepass then Microsoft has to ban these hackers and fix the servers again because some of the old cods are falling apart.

There 2 problems with old cods, and i think its not to hard to fix it, first and big problems is the hackers, and best way to fix this problem its close xbox 360 online and kill this console. And the other problem is the servers, they have to update it and fix it.

Would be great but i do believe this isn't possible and even if possible probably too much effot and not worth it either because ps4 and ps5 can't play old cod games such as black ops 2 and 1 etc only ps3 and can't imagine many are playing on ps3 in 2024 😅

You also gotta keep a mind they talked about. No old Activision game, not Transformers. Not singularity, not nothing, so you're logic about it. Maybe be in the fact that you gotta get the games. Working doesn't hold up. Because why can't they port singularity? It's a single player only game if I remember go about Transformers. I know, I think they have a good multi player. So maybe that's the reason, but they talked about no other act. Ivity games, currently there's only 2 Activision games. Can be put in the service black op 6 and Diablo 4.

With all due respect, I think you are wrong. I believe that they didn’t want people only talking about cod on game pass instead of the new bo6. I also believe that they might never put old cod on game pass because, most of those old beloved cod’s would do 2 things. 1 draw criticism to the new cod by comparison and 2 the old cods do not have as extensive of shops as the newer cods, so essentially they would be competing with themselves and taking potential profits away from the newer cods.
