Its still a great vid. Also, we have Target, yes, but we also have Toys-R-Us. K-Mart closed down about 5 years ago though. I just recently subbed to your channel because I saw a vid that Steve did that had you in it and your link was in the description. I just subbed Bucky too, 1 more on the way to 5,000. your abandoned underground city series is fantastic. I have a lot of catching up to do. The first time I went to Toys R US was in 1988 when I was 5 years old. Then in 2015 i was 32 years old I went to the same Toys R US for a group job interview I didn't get picked by the way after hearing about Toys R US closing down I'm kind of glad I wasn't picked now. But for the unlucky people that work for Toys R US good luck finding better jobs elsewhere.

At 6:19 you can see the hard drive is Samsung WNR-31601A at 1.6Gb which was manufactured around 1997 on, the tower is made by Atlantic could have run windows 95, CPU Intel 133 Mhz. I imagine the drive content would be dull, some old docs maybe, if it had internet it would be a modem - dial up. Mouse and Keyboard would be PS/2.

I think that maybe another lot of explorers turned the computer on when discovered power is on. Who would abandon a building leaving the computer on? Unless it's a homeless person who comes in at night and plays on the computer for fun and maybe even gets on to the net for free. Lucky guy if there is. Thanks for sharing.

would have been funny if you left Bucky doing the hovering to explore the basement. and when you returned, the carpet was spotless. all the trash was in Bin bags outside, the files all in proper order back in the cabinets.all the furniture was in place, the computer working, with an excel workbook open, and the green visor and 1/2 glasses on the desk. with the place looking like it never closed. YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR FACES PROPERLY COVERED, AS MANY OF THOSE BUILDING'S ARE ABANDONED DUE TO ASBESTOS. SO , PLEASE GET PROPER MASKS. THE COMPUTER IS FROM 1995-2001 APPROXIMATELY, SO ABOUT TWENTY YEARS OLD. YOU WOULD BE ABOUT TEN WHEN THEY CLOSED DOWN. STRANGE POWER NEVER GOT TURNED OFF AND ALL THOSE FILES GOT LEFT BEHIND. THIS IS THEIR OLD OFFICE AND MR IAN BOOT IS THE DIRECTOR. I WAS RIGHT IT WAS 2003 WHEN THEY WORKED OUT OF THAT OFFICE AND THEY DON'T REOPEN AGAIN UNTIL FEBRUARY I BELIEVE, IN CASE YOU NEED TO CONTACT THEM. MR BOOT IS A YEAR YOUNGER THAN ME, BUT I'M NOT SURE IF THERE IS ANY OTHER STAFF. YOU COULD GET FURTHER INFORMATION FROM COMPANIES HOUSE. COULD BE THERE WERE PROBLEMS WITH THE BUILDING.

That computer would still work with a keyboard. Really it should be dismantled with the hard drive wiped or even destroyed. There is probably clients data on that machine. There are also folders lying around. Pretty sloppy to just leave it all there and that the place still has power means someone is paying the bill. Theres only two errors on the computer. One is that it cannot detect a keyboard and on a computer that old it ironically told you to press F1 to continue even though it knows there is no keyboard detected. The other thing about the bios battery is easy to replace its a wee watch battery that keeps the time and other settings.
