if you installed windows xp to that you could probably play games like fable 1, halo, doom 3, age of empires 3, dungeon siege and well most early to mid 2000s games without issue. i can't really read german but that looks like a cmos battery error at boot just need to replace the battery. anyways they make adapters to install ssd's into those old machines. i have a retro gaming setup i made out of a 20 year old dell, has tons of games that don't work properly on modern computers.

Well, I've been thinking of trying to do a hard reset by taking out the cmos battery and try to install windows xp, but I don't think I can play any games on it except for that classic pinball and solitaire and maybe original doom because this pc doesn't have a gpu and it has a pentium 4

Rather install Linux in it

@@armorguy5563 pentium 4's are the min requirement for most early to mid 2000s games, the lack of a dedicated gpu is a problem though, you can get a somewhat "modern" gpu like a nvidia gt 210 or 430 the pci variants for cheap and those work with xp, i'm using a 430 in mine. you could get older gpu's but people are charging more for those now. anyways even with just the built in intel gpu you could play games like dungeon siege or age of empires 2. that pinball game works even on pentium 1's. pentium 4's were around well into the 3d gaming era.

@@nakshatramudgil2526 wine wouldn't work as well as just xp, and linux isn't any fun on it's own. it would get more use as a retro gaming setup. sure you could install linux, get it connected to the net and play youtube at 1fps, but what's the fun in that? (btw i tried this with mine lol)
