Old Delhi Food Trail with Suvir Saran

Old Dilli or as fondly called purani Dilli has been a gastronomic hub and one of the most loved street food destinations. This crazy part of Delhi is home to several yet unique, centuries-old restaurants and halwais. Walking down the narrow lanes of Old Delhi, you will find an array of lip-smacking street food ranging from kebabs, Kale jalebi’s, chaats, nihari, gol gappas to shahi tukdas, kulfis, and more. Best part? They are quite pocket friendly as well.
All non-veg lover knows how Jama Masjid is the perfect place to devour meat. The lane facing the mosque has restaurants lined up that smell of delicious food. Chef Suvir Saran along with TimesFoodie editor visited the iconic Aslam Butter chicken and tried their mouthwatering chicken delights. They also indulged in some of Jama Masjid area's famous offerings like 'Sheermal' and 'Shahi Tukda'.
