FORGET NEW DELHI! OLD DELHI IS SO MUCH MORE FUN TO EXPLORE!
After a couple of days in New Delhi, we decide to check out Old Delhi and BOY are we glad we did!
After accidentally stumbling upon a political rally on our exploration into Old Delhi, we finally make it out, and start exploring Old Delhi, and it was so much fun!
I would say Old Delhi is a lot more tourist friendly than New Delhi. Old Delhi has character, there is so much going on all of the time! Just walking the streets, you see and experience so many things that are completely out of the ordinary!
Old Delhi is a MUST visit for foreign tourists, we found people selling goats on the side of the road, police destroying unlicensed marketplaces and much, much more!

I think if you avoid the areas like Chandni chowk and Paharganj then you can get rid of scammers... But me as a citizen from a different part of the country I would like to visit the vibrant old Delhi... But as you are a foreigner you should experience all Modern, Old, New, chaotic areas...thats the complete package from India.

Many foreigners make the mistake of going only to Delhi and Agra where there are many scammers, so chaotic, polluted, crowded etc..As an Indian, I avoid Delhi at all costs so it's even a worser destination for tourists...South India and North-East India are comparatively less crowded, cleaner, greener and has better holiday destinations🌴😍.. please advise your friends too to avoid the Golden Triangle on a trip to India

dude, its the capital city. why wouldn't foreigners visit delhi? most people visit the capital and the famous tourist places when visiting other countries, which are without a doubt delhi and agra. just cause it has scammers, pollution, etc, you would miss the capital of the country.

Delhi is the only place as an Indian am recommending you not to visit Delhi because even a sentence don't want to visit in Delhi for a vacation. In North India there are better cities where you can visit like Chandigarh which is safer , Shimla very beautiful my home state and its very safe for women , Srinagar is like Switzerland , leh etc

Delhi is not the best place to start ur india adventure since it is very noisy,crowded and full of scammers. Do visit dharamshala or Shimla up in the northern part of India.
