Y'know I was travelling with a guy from the dune sea once. He tried to sell me 'the scale of a mighty pope' that his granddad had slain. Apparently, the old man used to go around the desert at night dressed up as a cactus digging up dune moles and tying a collar made up of various intertwined posionous plants around their necks before letting them go. Before long, a pope terrorizing the local farms dropped dead, and now its skull is used as an impractical family table back home. I can't say I believed him, but it was an interesting story.

I am absolutely loving the religious connotations used for this creature. Both majestic and frighteningly intimidating. A dragon dubbed as 'bishop', its nest being called 'cathedrals', and groups being ministries is such a beautifuly gothic way of portraying such a magnificent dragon. I can only imagine having the creativity to make something like this.

Excellent new video, the editing and pasting is really good and I also can see an improvement is sound quality. The art accompanied by your skills in story telling and different sound effects allowed me to be immersed by the video, which is extremely welcomed and make the overall experience a true pleasure; The only critique i would have is not because of something that is missing, but rather just something that i find would make the experience even better, and as i was saying, its to put more ambiance sounds and music to accompany the story telling, as I think it would make the experience even better. The dragon itself is absolutely fascinating, a massive inspiration for my world building projects and a impressive creature, with all the things they have to survive in such harsh conditions. Absolutely love the project 💙

The tale of the Bishop rider makes me wonder if any species of dragons in the Codex can be tamed or, at the very least, have their trust be earned
@noahcreutziger769010 ай бұрын
Great episode man! The bishop is one of my favourite dragons with their reflective scales and heyna like body posture. I particularly love their mating ritual and how they build obsidian "cathedrals" to house their eggs. One minor criticism though, 2 tons is extremely heavy for a flying animal. Quetzalcoatlus, one of the biggest pterosaurs, only weighed about 200 kg thanks to a structure of hollow bones and air sacs that reduce the weight of the animal. The wailing Bishop would of course be heavier due to tough scales and a much more massive body and tail but two tons might be a tad extreme.
@shoe64410 ай бұрын
Seems like they have massive wing muscles
@sawyerleeart10 ай бұрын
They are indeed heavy for a flying beast! I let it be one of the realism boundaries I push however- as this same beast also melts and stores molten sands in its stomach- something no beast would realistically be able to do! It’s a push and pull with the mythical feats vs realism
