You could have done a regular playthrough, with all the bullshit parts, or you could have done a standard review. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand the highly regarded "Great Yoshi Migration". The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of Herpetology most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Yoshi’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike the exceptional "Great Yoshi Migration" truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Yoshi’s existential catchphrase “Yoshi~!,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dunkey’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

She loved how you showed your crude beginnings as an animator while building up to perseverance in boss battles. Dunkey will forever be one of my favorite youtubers of all time, he puts so much effort into every aspect of his videos and he has an amazing personality, i wish i was his friend irl, but everyone feels that way about their idols... Zega_Exiron its almost never going to die out. animating may be done in a computer program but until animating can simply be done by taking one picture and moving all the lines and what not around with it automatically. but the work that gets put into animating will pretty much never die Unless you want your animation to be as broken and/or generic as possible. I personally want to do animating myself soo yea.

I think the real reason we all keep coming back to these dunkey videos isn’t for his sarcasm, or his wacky sense of humor. Every now and then Dunkey puts something out there that is profound and relevant to the way everyone should live. Axioms aren’t often fun to listen to, as we reflexively think/say “I know.” Here Dunkey conflates the persistence it takes to beat a game like Cuphead with his persistence in building his skills and his channel, and he does it in a beautiful way. Newgrounds was like Reddit before Reddit. The site is still active but very minimally. I remember the site had daily updates of porn, anime, toons, games, and flash art. Stick animation was the biggest thing on that site and then Fusion-Revolution became a thing. I miss Newgrounds

Dao Yang Actually, Newgrounds was more like KZbin for talented edgy people. Egoraptor, Dunkey, Jontron, Stamper, Flashgitz, Paperbat, Oney, Psychicpebbles, Speedosausage TwistedGrim, Gonzossm, SamGreen etc. were all members at one point. Also, stick animations with the exception of flashdeckanimations and xiao xiao used to be pretty frowned upon.

Gabriel I don't remember stick animation being frowned upon. I might have joined when it became accepted because it had a lot of stick animation on it before I got my fix of stick animation from Fusion-Revolution instead. Xiao Xiao was awesome, a really hard game though. Dating Sims, flash anime art, and porn was kind of the novel of Newgrounds from what I remembered. Also Tom Fulp is awesome! Heard they've moved to bigger things though, actually making money now.
