Honestly. The only thing failing him from guessing it right is noticing the pattern that they correspond with their typing. And unless he knew crystal, diamond, and iron were not types, he would’ve been close to guessing Regice and Registeel

While Jack didn’t correctly name the Pokémon at 10:43, he did correctly guess the name of a Skylander. One that does not resemble a lobster at all nor does it have any attacks that mimic a lobster. Instead, Lob-Star gets its name by being a ninja starfish that throws ninja stars (so he lobs stars).

The wild thing about this is it's based on the idea (probably ironically but it can be hard to pin down) that the ideal name for a pokemon is one you can guess just by looking at the design. Aka a description.

For some of them, like Castform, you need context to possibly guess the name. Castform, for example, is a water molecule that changes form depending on the current weather. Also, Gemineye would be a fantastic Sableye evolution, maybe with a big gem mirror. It's a Ghost-type, so I could possibly see a gimmick in which a dark and light Sableye swap places in and out of the mirror whenever some condition is met.
