I think its because most streamers have kinda mediocre personal lives and they invest way too much of thenselves into their entertainment. Fun thing, there was a case in the NBA where a player was technically traded mid-game to the opposing team. The "technically" here was that at some point they lost power (I think; the game had to be stopped in the middle, I know that much) and had to play the last however-much was left later, the game got scheduled like 2 months later, and in the interim there was a trade to that team.
