I subbed yesterday. While your cherry cobbler looks good, it's more of the "new-fashioned" easier way. The old-fashioned way was spooning fluffy dumplings into the fruit. That's how grandma did it. And grandma lived in a wood shack and made pies at home for a living (which was sold to a local restaurant). I hope you'll get a new microphone soon. Meanwhile, Ill keep watching. Very best wishes for your husband's full recovery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for subscribing, I always like to welcome new subscribers. My grandmother actually rolled out a pie crust, so her cobblers were more like deep-dish pies, which were delicious! I featured that in my blackberry cobbler video. I was actually referring to the homemade filling as the "old-fashioned" part. Most modern recipes call for canned cherry pie filling. As for the microphone, I don't have any plans for getting a new microphone anytime soon. I'm not a professional chef and I don't have a studio/sound stage for making videos. You may hear a phone ring, dog barking or cat meowing in my videos or you may even hear my husband snore, lol. I mainly started doing videos for my children and grandchildren so that they will know exactly how I make some of their favorites. Thank you for your kind wishes for my husband's recovery. He's doing well but feeling the effects of the radiation. I'm happy that you stopped by, thanks for watching!
