I have to say I surprised myself for watching this whole video. I'm not a celebrity.. .but my marriage only last 24 hours. That experience basically destroyed me. I turned out to be so hard on myself that I lived an iron-clad heart. I didn't become a male chauvinistic guy from that experience because that not who I am. But I was hurting myself for years. My husband was like this... And he protected his sisters from being raped by the step father. He was very protective of me and he really understood a woman's heart. But all of this stress from violence in his family, and being previously trapped by a crazy woman who "got pregnant by accident" within 3 months of them dating, and he taking "his responsibilites" led him to spend 14 years with a woman he didn't love for the love of his daughter. All of this gave him a very harsh cancer, and we only got to spend 3 years together. I took care of him - sending my health and finances down the drain - all along. I miss him. These men are a rarity nowadays.

I can truly appreciate and enjoy a movie like this... great story line and acting... a touching and soul stirring movie indeed... God can use circumstances and events to change lives and hearts... I especially liked the scene where his Aunt Zella "schooled" him about letting go of his past/guilt... self pride... and living life... and going after the woman he loves. Coming across this movie was comparable to finding a lost treasure... it was that good! Even as a "mature" older person... I've been wanting to watch this movie. I'm glad I did! 😊👍♥️ I loved it that Clay's Aunt helped him see that it's important to forgive yourself and let go of the past. Even when we've had a part in making mistakes or sinning. I needed this reminder that I have Family and friends who love me and want me to live life with Joy and Happiness, as I choose to live God's Plan. Having boundaries and choosing not to sin again is good and righteous, but we (I'm wanting to remind myself of this), don't have to be flawless. We just need to maintain a healthy amount of boundaries and upright living. It means we're Human and we have weaknesses. And while we're striving to be our best in Following God, God still wishes to Bless us with happiness in Him and in each other. We can have boundaries & Standards, while still building relationships with others. Whether it's for Marriage/ Family or Friendship / being a law abiding Citizen of a community.

This is such a beautiful movie with many true-life elements. Overall, a lesson in letting go - to let love in. We have to believe that we are worthy ... of love ... and being loved despite all else. Don't self-sabatoge a good thing when the good Lord brings it to you. Instead, accept love with open arms! I absolutely loved this - beautiful indeed. Love!!!

😭😭😭 I loved it! ❤️I didn't expect this. I can say that God hears our prayers, He knows what we want and need. I was looking for a movie, actually, answers to my life and this was it. I know that everything is worth it to God and that the most important thing is that Romans 8:28 says, that God works everything for our good. I was married for almost 10 years, I prayed for my husband and although I have been divorced for 12 years, I know that God was not wrong for giving me all those years with him. I'm grateful for everything and since my divorce, I have been able to find God in my life. I've been building a relationship with Jesus. Something I did not have before. A lot has happened in my life and I can only say that everything has helped me to be a better person for myself and with others as well. I have no grudges, only love, joy and peace in me and in God who knows everything. Thanks for sharing and help us reflect in our lives!

She tried to kiss him and she got mad when he refused. He stated from the beginning how he needed to proceed in this relationship. When she didn’t respect this… this would of been a red flag for me. That was a bit contradictory to the main message, you're right about that. But what I felt took away from it more, was how they "glossed over" the issue of her first marriage. There wasn't enough detail about who this guy was (i.e., was he married before?); or (if so) how _that_ relationship ended, etc. Some Christians believe that adultery is grounds for divorce; but Jesus said "except for fornication"; and then in Corinthians, if you are separated you are instructed to either: a) reconcile, or b) remain single. It's a hard truth, I realize; but divorce rates (including within the church) are rampant nowadays due to "no fault" laws and lax theology; when God has designed marriage to represent Christ and the Church... it totally destroys the symbolism.

What a clear message about the emptiness of a life pursuing self gratification instead of just making sure you are the right kind of mate for a life long commitment. I just loved the realness of this man! There is more romance in the careful way he looked at his past and then when God took that and created a new heart in him, for isn't that what drew the girl to fall in love? He really wasn't that old man any more! This was the best love story I have ever seen in all my sixty four years of life! Thanks for posting it!

I really appreciate mr clay saying in any relationship love must come first . And so for me too love first along with God . I remember when my husband then suggested if we could get to know each other more to see if we are compatible for marriage! and he stopped me from approaching him to kiss him so that we don't sabotage that opportunity to know each other well! "marriage is a fortress of well-being, preparation counts"! it needs bravery - we did study a book, great to have materials to focus on during the process!!! Ours were called "the green book"

Unfortunately we have been groomed with mainstream movies to expect certain things to happen and story lines that have been repeated over and over again. For the non-mainstream movies, they feel dull. Not by fault of those movies, but the fault lying with the 'movies of this world'. I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. Probably one of the best non-mainstream movies I have watched! So thank you for sharing this online, free to watch.
