I still do every time i travel from cherokee nc for the winter, i love the old florida. I took my family to silver springs and weeki watchee, they want to visit. Every time we come down.😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃

There was also the Kennedy Space Center, Florida Reptile Land on Route 301, Gatorland, Six Gun Territory, and Lion Country Safari in West Palm Beach.

In Vero Beach, we had McKee Jungle Gardens. Tourism fell off. Done.

I remember pier 60 in clearwater Beach back in the 80's used to expand way out into the gulf of mexico .the pier had an aquarium out in the middle of it with a Huge Turtle that lived out there. Used to have Big Sharks hanging off hook that the fishermen brought in ..Good old days

I remember The Boatyard Village in Clearwater Fl. Built in the early 1980's to look like an old village .it was behind the USCG station by the Clearwater /St Petersburg international Airport..Thousands of people went there to Buy seashells or other touristy things or get a soda and watch a movie ..That all faided into history too ..to go there today you would never know it ever existed
