On the island you should do a Roman bath spa, with an old bath inspired by the one in the town bath, and then have a modern extension were people get their drinks, with hot tubs and a yoga room

Oh yes, I totally agree that having stories in your head helps to build. Like even if I didn’t create sims who can live in my builds, I know their story. Like when I was building university town in Magnolia, I didn’t create sims for it, but I had their personalities in my head and showed its in their flats and dorms. So yes, having story of people that live or work in your builds really helps a lot!

I still do that! I live above the main shopping street and I have an alcove about a meter out. Perfect for people watching and , dare I say, make fun of them. Never serious, just having some fun. Trying to teach my daughter. She’s 4 now, but I’ll make sure she’ll learn soon enough

I can’t believe you were up at that ungodly hour, making sure the speed build was up for us to watch! Not all hero’s wear capes 😉. Although I’m kinda glad I’ve got insomnia tonight so I could watch it! What a fabulous build as always chuck! Those shipping containers reminded me of when I went over to Christchurch NZ, a year after the earthquake. Most of the bars were made out shopping containers and it was quite cool seeing how the community kept going by renovating them into bars, shops and cafes! Although the best was this ‘nightclub’ which was literally a car park with a chalked out square for a dance floor. You plugged you’re phone into this old tumble dryer (so you could play music) and if you put in a few coins in the tumble dryer it’d start spinning the disco ball!! 😂. Also I’m so sorry you aren’t able to go to EA play anymore. But what a bloody awesome friend you are to do that! Although technically (as the ‘friendship pay back rules’ state), they’ve now got to pay you back with something just as epic as EA play! But is there anyway the Sims team could send you over the new game pack so you could have a go at home like you would if you’d gone there? Or could they send you over a few screenshots?!

Ohh goodness this is so cute!! I have a full set of Windenburg Old Town builds in that square, but I put this in Proprietor's Square and it looks fantastic! Like it's a slightly newer area compared to the much older Old Square. I've also replaced Factory One with your reno, and am going to explore the rest of your builds!

Love this build! I went to school for Architecture here in Canada! I love it but in my school, you mostly just learn about structural integrity and how to build a structurally stable building. They don't teach much on how to have an eye for design. You have such an incredible eye for building. I love all of your builds :)

Early again!! Woot woot!! Another amazing and flawless build as always!! Something I have to admit to is that I couldn’t stop thinking about the store Macy’s when you were trying to remember the name of the owner of the skin care shop 😂. I do have two questions for you today: 1) do you watch other you tubers and take inspiration from them or any tricks? 2) aside from places in England, what other places or time periods are you massively inspired by? I enjoy ultra modern styles as well as small north west coastal town (Washington to norther California) vibes ☺️

Macy's isn't a thing in the UK, so it's not that lol. To answer your questions I don't get inspiration from other builders as we all have our own styles, but I love to watch speed builds when I can. A couple of my favourite builders are XFreezerBunnyX and Simproved. I'm really inspired from modern Japanese architecture too :)

Gorgeous build again. You're so talented and creative! And so lovely of you to choose your friend over EA/LA. As a Dutch person I can confirm lots of people live over their shops, but the houses up there are quite big and are often even divided into compartments so they can be rented out to several student (or young people at least). So there are often two floors above the shop with both floors having a common room, one or two bedrooms, a full bathroom and a kitchen. It always blows my mind as the shops downstairs almost always seem tiny, but I guess they have lots of storage room in the back.

I think this is my favourite build of yours! Maybe it's cause I'm from the UK and It's just so ridiculously on point. People watching is something my mom taught me and then I taught my friend and we wouldnt really narrate what the people were doing but more so like voice their thoughts???? Idk if that makes sense but I can agree its hilarious and fun. Beautiful build and I fantastic idea for a lot! I really wish EA let us has more range with lot types and maybe make it so we can combine some types? Like a library and a cafe or something. Just more lot options!

Ah I just love your intros so much, it gives so much life to the lot! Another gorgeous build again!!! I swear almost every time after watching one of your build videos I throw up the sims and try to build things haha or I take a personal tour of your builds, yet another one to add in! Edit: Also side note, the shipping container talk reminded me of this warehouse area in Amsterdam, you take the ferry to get to and its just a giant warehouse filled with shipping containers and other small rooms that houses a bunch of artist's workshops, I was both so confused and super intrigued by it, we stumbled upon it basically by accident, or at least we went to the island without knowing what the heck to expect! there was also a whole area outside where they had containers converted into housing as well!
