Hello Rachel, The English I learned here in this 4 hour lesson is incredible. I find myself fluently speaking and using less breaths/energy. My native language is Spanish as my family brought me to the United States from Spain when I was 3 years old. However, funny enough I grew up basically in the daycare with English speaking teachers, so I somewhat learned more English than Spanish growing up. I must say that I didn't use these shortcuts before and would make my sentences longer. That is the past! I am a whole new person who speaks American English Now. I highly recommend this 4 hour lesson to everyone! thank you for changing my life and making it easier to communicate! I also want to note a fun-fact that in Spanish we use similar shortcuts in conversation as well. - Miguel

Wonderful lessons, Rachel! I just discovered you today and I feel that your lessons are exactly what I needed. I do a lot of live translations on Zoom and face-to-face and I found that when I translate from English into my native language I have no problems with pronunciation and cursivity. But, when I translate into English, I feel that I take too many unwanted "breaks" in the middle of the sentence, even when I know the words... I would like to have a little more fluidity and just sound like a native speaker. Thank you for thinking about people like us!

I am a native English speaker from the Midwest and spent time around Indiana and Chicago area growing up. When you see for as “fir” I think that’s a specific accent, I say it the same as “four” even when speaking faster. There are a couple other things that I pronounce differently from this video. One thing that sets my accent apart for example is that I pronounce stuff like Monday as Mundee which my dad also does.
