To be fair, the song was never made to be released. Tor regretted that his actions pushed his daughter Freya away, causing her to run away after what happened to Saga's father. He wanted to apologize to her, but he never got that chance. So he wrote Anger's Remorse since he would never be able to properly apologize to the daughter he had hurt with his actions And in the end, the song was heard by the one person who was ment to hear it: Freya's daughter, Saga

The mixing and mastering on this band as well as the way they use background instruments is honestly unbelievable. There's such an insane clarity to these, it's so easy to pick out little elements in the background without them taking over too much. It's just right, just perfect.

One of my favorite things about Alan Wake one was the amazing soundtrack, due in no small part to the contributions from Gods of Asgard / Poets of the fall. When I heard Alan Wake II was coming out, I was worried the soundtrack wouldn't measure up to the previous game. . .but I am SO proud to say not only was I completely wrong, but Alan Wake 2's soundtrack actually exceeded everything the original games soundtrack did so well. Standout hits like this very song stay with you long after the credits roll. The vocals and instrumental arrangements these guys put together here are absolutely flawless.

It’s like this game was like: “What if we made albums but in the form of video games” just getting into the AW series and playing the remastered and then going through control and now AW 2 I’m hooked. I’ve literally stopped to watch the TV commercial they have, I’ll sit and listen to each song, I’ll listen to Pat Maine’s radio and I’m legit engaged. I’m sad it took me this long to get into Remedy’s games.(I’ve played Max Payne and I didn’t know they made that game to til recently) simple put Remedy is a developer that I love and enjoy. Any game they announce will now grab my attention!

That's awesome and it's never too late to enjoy something Like Remedy Entertainments works. I've fallen in love with basically everything Remedy has put out from Max Payne all the way up to Alan Wake 2 and I played that game 2 times already. Glad you found this amazing developer and I hope they continue to make great games like these.

Alan Wake 2 spoilers (about Saga's parents): These lyrics are another evidence that Mr. Door is Saga's father. This song exists as a ritual to let Saga reach an Overlap, and have a glimpse of the Dark Place, where Mr. Door is. As it says: "Dive through the dark To find the light on the other side You will find him there The piece you are missing The man I drove away". I believe Tor's referring to her father here, the one he drove away. The whole song is called Anger's remorse because he regrets that single episode especially. Moreover, Mr. Door also said he is in the Dark Place looking for someone he cares about, and that someone only ended up there because Alan wrote them into the story. It all connects! :)

Even if I agree with that reading, it should be mentioned that Tor could refer to himself as well. "The man I drove away", I mean, he drove himself away by being a bad father to Freya and more. Even if I do think that verse refers to Mr. Door. Maybe DLC plans, maybe Alan Wake 3... who knows? 🤷🏻‍♂️
