Does anyone remember the cream coloured rigid delivery trucks from Greshams?

@@ALWResearchTeam Yes Andy, I remember seeing them driving around the area when I first moved to Brough in 1996 😊

Hi Nick I just wondered what drone you have ? I live in Brough also and would love to get into drone flying but for some reason I’m struggling to take the plunge

@ Hi Andy. I’m using a DJI Mini 2 which I’ve had for about 2½ years. I’d never flown a drone before when I bought it, but I’ve built up a lot of confidence in the time I’ve had it and I love getting out there and capturing footage. It’s amazing how much different things look from the air. The DJI Mini 2 was discontinued quite a while ago but they relaunched an identical model last year called the DJI Mini 4K which costs around £270 (or £400 for the Fly More Combo with 3 batteries). Definitely worth taking the plunge - you won’t regret it 👍🏼😊

@ Hi Nick. Firstly thank you so much for the reply. The DJI mini 4K is exactly the drone I’ve been looking at as it seems a really good option for a new starter. (With the fly more package too) I need to do a little more research in to the laws and then I guess I’ll make the purchase and hope for the best. Your videos are amazing !! I’d love to do something like that for myself Once again, many thanks Andy

@@AndyC2_ Thanks for your kind comments. Good luck with whatever you decide. There's lots of information here: register-drones.caa.co.uk/individual It'll currently cost you £11.13 a year to register an Operator ID. I can recommend the free Flyer ID as well and the free 40 question multiple choice test that accompanies it (test is quite easy) and then you're good to go. With the drone being under 250 grams, the regulations are the lowest of all - you just need to check where it's safe to fly. I use the Drone Assist app which is very good and the one recognised by the CAA 👍☺ Thanks again.
