This is a cover version (well, more kind of a re-interpretation) of a long forgotten german funk band, called "The Touch", the song was originally called "Get up and run" and sung by Terence Trent D'arby. It's so old that I even can't find a video but just an (iilegal?) mp3 playinig site: www.junodownload.com/products/the-touch-get-up-run/1362570-02/ (sung by dutch singer after D'Arby left the band to start his solo career) And, yes, thats official, the Bass player of "The Touch", Mr. Frank Itt, is giving shows with Wojtek Pilichowski. If you have the chance, go and see them! Und Hey Frank, falls Du das liest, soviel Ehre muss sein, geiler Bassist! Als ich Dich in Hamburg der Freiheit das erste mal gesehen habe, habe ich eine halbe Stunde das Kinn nicht mehr hoch bekommen.
